Transfering a CrazeDNS domain name to another router
When you try to enter a domain name previously registered on another Netcraze, you will be notified that the name is in use.
If you need to transfer the registered CrazeDNS domain name from one Netcraze router to another, follow these steps:
To transfer a domain name, you need to copy a special transfer code on the first Netcraze, which allows you to transfer the domain name assigned to this router to another Netcraze.
Important
If you want to delete a registered name (e.g., a device has broken down), you should prepare information to help identify you as the owner and contact support via email — help@keenetic.ru with the reason why you want to delete the registered domain name. Example information:
Service tag
and last time you connected to the Internet on the device, or the number assigned by the Service centre. On the 'Domain Name' page, the 'CrazeDNS' tab click on the 'Obtain a transfer code' link. A domain name transfer code will be created. The code is valid for
7 days
. Click on the link 'Copy to clipboard' and enter the received code in the Netcraze to which you want to give the domain name.On the second Netcraze, select the occupied domain name, paste the copied code into the appeared 'Transfer code' field and press 'Save'.
The domain name will then be transferred to the second Netcraze router.
Important
Please note that you cannot transfer an existing domain name from *.keenetic.*
to *.netcraze.*
or *.crazedns.ru
. To do this, first release the *.keenetic.*
domain name on your Netcraze device and then register a new one in the *.netcraze.*
(or *.crazedns.ru
) domain. Please also note that for Netcraze devices in the EAEU countries, transferring *.keenetic.*
names to another device by transfer code will not work either (transfer code works for name transfer only between new domains).
